I often have the privilege of traveling internationally for work, and the opportunity to get to know different cultures. I have the chance to work, and party, with top people. They aren’t the gurus, the theorists, or the talkers. They aren’t hot air rock stars. They just rock. They get things done and show our clients what “talk less, do more” really means. They care and are there when you need them. These people are Mindcurv. I can’t tell you how glad I am to be at the heart of this bunch and this is the gist of what I said to the team when we cut the cake for our recent (remote) 10 year anniversary.
Small but Not for Long
Amjad and I started Mindcurv thinking we’ll keep it small. We merely wanted to create a company where we would both be happy to work. Our original goal of size – 20 people – soon became bigger. And bigger. We didn’t plan it this way, it just happened. And I soon realized that our team was made of a fabric I hadn’t experienced before in such quantities. The people had an amazing sense of ownership and with the best attitude towards service, teamwork, and learning, and they would juggle strategy and get things done without a blink of an eye.
We understood that if we wanted to get far, we needed the best people we could find. People who were made of the same fabric. We recently started calling ourselves ‘stratecutors’.
We also knew that to grow and be even better, the two of us had to forget about being the smartest ones in the room. We needed to find and connect people to the team who could do many things better than us, so we could learn from them and together we would be better and smarter, not individually. This way of working has made us who we are.

Leveling up our business
In the past 10 years, we have cross-skilled and reinvented ourselves 4 times. We came out stronger after each iteration and watched established players who did not adapt losing relevance and disappearing.
We never stood still. We grew fast. When we became a mid-size company, we stepped on the accelerator. In 2019, we onboarded partners to help us grow and diversify further. Again, selecting people and companies with different skillsets yet are made of the same fabric. Together, we complemented each other’s skills and learned from one another. We shared cultures, and in the process, made Mindcurv better.
Thank you Cloud Consulting Group, wysiwyg, igniti, initions, eccelerate, and Valearis for becoming part of the Mindcurv family. Again we welcome the growth and diversification with open arms.
A big thank you
The Mindcurv people are the sole ingredient of our success. The top people, from the right fabric, who believed in our story and helped build Mindcurv year after year. Everyone here should take massive credit for our success. Thank you to the colleagues who trusted us enough at the beginning and helped baby Mindcurv crawl and walk. To everyone who joined along the way. And for your continuous, excellent, and hard work.
To our clients and partners for choosing to work with us.
To our dear friend Rajeev for your valuable contribution and for showing us that you can face any challenge with a smile on your face. We will always miss you Rajeev.
Bring IT on
Although we’re pretty sizable now, we’re still relatively small, but I am very proud to say we have been the toughest underdog some big SI’s have ever faced. We took over when the big ones failed more than once because of this fabric of knowing what we are doing, combining strategy with getting things done.
Our future is bright, our industry is growing fast and our experience and expertise are essential to any business’s success. Not just are all companies now tech companies, they are also making the shift to running their digitalization as products and not one-off projects. We are in the business of building and running these massive tech products for companies and I dare to say we’re one of the best in Europe. That is not a bad position to be in. We are so well-positioned to challenge big players for a spot at the IT services table.
I’m counting on everyone to make this happen and I’m confident we will take really big steps from here.
